My super nice friend Lisa and her husband Alnis are expecting a baby in a couple of months. I stopped by their house for a pregnancy portrait session. Thank you for the opportunity! I can not wait until I can take photographs of the baby once she is out in the world.

Cindy and Jake had a wonderful summer wedding at Rancho de las Flores in Somis, CA. I love that she picked the puffiest dress she could find! It looked great on her.

During one of my term breaks from Art Center I did a series of portraits of friends and people I came across that could fit in a funky pink dress I found in a thrift store. It was a really fun project especially since I traveled a lot during that break (Fallen Leaf Lake, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, New York, Burning Man…where I met a girl that worked at a place called google which was new then)

It has been almost ten years so I thought I would do an anniversary of the series. I will try to post the original series soon.

On my fathers day trip to Northern California I also had the opportunity to meet up with Tina and Corey at McKinley Park in Sacramento for a really fun engagement shoot. They are getting married on Catalina in February 2009.

I had the opportunity to stop by San Francisco to shoot an engagement session with Roseangelea & Kane while on my way to Sacramento for Fathers Day. We met at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. A great place for a fun session. They are getting married in September at the Catalina Country Club.

My very creative and talented friend Kelly Berg at Arte Styling contacted me to shoot an environmental portrait of her at her home in San Mateo, CA.

Kelly is a successful interior designer, color consultant and style expert. The home she shares with her husband had many fantastic locations for the portrait. We have worked together on many different photo assignments - usually involving food, entertaining and interiors. It was really fun to have her in front of the camera!

Yvette and Colin were married at an amazingly cool house over looking Lake Hollywood and right under the Hollywood sign.
